I don't know about the rest of you, but I LOVE Sundays! There is no better way, I think, to start off the week than going to church. I enjoy church regardless of when it is, but getting early for 7:30 mass after a late night hanging out with friends is not easy. We have to make a commitment to ourselves and to God, that no matter what we will go to mass on Sunday. Sunday is the day God created for us to worship Him.Trust me I know all the excuses in the book that you can come up with to miss church. I used to be that kid that tried to wiggle their way out of going, and I have two younger brothers who still try and do that. Being where I am in my life right now, I find those excuses harder and harder to find. This is not to say I am looking for them, but there are some early mornings I would much rather sleep for another hour before I've got to go to work for the rest of the day. This morning was one of those mornings, but I knew once I got to church I wouldn't regret it. I always need that message and push for the week to get me going.
I definitely need that push going to work as a waitress during a Sunday morning breakfast rush! This Sunday was not too bad though. It was so nice out, I'm sure everyone was enjoying it! I did have visitors at work...my grandparents! What a nice surprise to see some friendly, familiar faces in the madness.
Sunday is my day of rest...and it just so happens to be my cheat day ;) How that works out I am not really sure...After a long day on my feet it was nice to come home and have dinner with my family. Tonight on the menu was hamburgers and corn on the cob. I had the corn on the cob, but had a vegetarian chicken patty with lettuce tomato and light ranch dressing! I absolutely love that combo! I should now probably mention that one of the new adventures I am embarking on, is that I have recently become a pesco-vegetarian. This simply means I do not eat meat, but I do eat fish. I will go more into why I chose to become vegetarian soon in another blog. After dinner my dad and I went on a motorcycle ride. He has a Harley and one of my favorite things to do with him is go for a ride. It was beautiful out so I didn't have to wear a jacket or anything!
I ended the night with a late run to Giant to pick up some groceries...and I just happened to snag up the new copy of one of my favorite magazines, Health, and Women's Health because Jillian Michaels was on the cover! She is a beast!

Then I finished off my night with my big cheat of the day...party cake and brownie track ice cream, while watching The Next Food Network Star. Yum! Needless to say I've got some work to do tomorrow. Now I am off for a late night last attempt review for my Stats test tomorrow...boo!!! I'm sure it will be quite successful with two new magazines calling my name...
