Happy Fathers day all! How did you spend your day? I personally tried to spend as much time as I could with my dad. Unfortunately, I had to rush straight from mass to work. Everyone and their father was out for breakfast and lunch today! I am still a little new to the waitressing world and today really tested me. As stressful as it was I thoroughly enjoy being tested and would much rather be busy than standing around. Needless to say when I got home I was tired and hungry. We didn't plan dinner ahead of time but it is my dad's day so we made him choose. He ended up deciding on BBQ ribs on the grill. My dad is definitely a carnivore, while I am not. I try and get my family to go vegetarian at least once a week, when i cook, but my dad wante meat, so he got it! I on the other had had Morning Star ribblets and we also had sweet potato fries, watermelon and sautéed mushrooms, peppers and onions. It was a very yummy dinner! My dad really enjoyed it too. what did you have for dinner tonight?!

We topped off the meal with my dessert. Yesterday Erica and I made some cookies and we ended up having a ton of leftovers. I personally didn't want them sitting on my kitchen counter the whole week for me to eat so I decided to make ice cream sandwiches! They were easy to make since the cookies were already made and quite yummy!

We ended the night at my Nana and Pop's house (my dad's parents) to visit with them. My aunt and uncle and their kids were there too, who are up from North Carolina! It was so nice to see my aunt because she has recently shed about 25 pounds! She looks great! And it was nice to see my little cousins as well!

Tomorrow I really want to get a great workout in! I've got the day completely free so I have no excuse to not do it. My goals this coming week is to workout hard and sway from the sweets! What are your goals for the week?! Share and we can help each other to achieve them :) through God though anything is possible, and know that He always believes in you! And so do I!
