Today I am officially no longer a teenager! I had a good day that started off with a great workout! I really wanted to sweat this morning especially since I knew I wanted to indulge in some cake tonight. I have been having some pretty great workouts lately so I am going to work to post them in my workout section. Please check it out soon! I will send out a blog post when I finish posting them. I will give you a look at my workout today, which gave me a nice kick in the butt...
Treadmill for 45 minutes:
1 min speed 5.0
1 min speed 5.5
1 min speed 6.0
1 min speed 6.5
1 min speed 7.0
1 min speed 7.5
1 min speed 8.0
2 min speed 4.5
Repeat this circuit 5 times
10 minutes bike on random setting level 9
Lift legs:
3 x 10 Barbell Squats
3 x 10 Barbell Deadlifts
3 x 10 Leg Extension
3 x 10 Leg Curls
3 x 15 Exercise Ball Crunches
3 x 12 Leg raises
Needless to say I was drenched after this workout, but it felt great getting through. The run was tough though. Just looking at it written is a tad bit deceiving, doing it is another thing.
I ran a couple errands today including treating myself to a skinny peppermint mocha, my favorite! I finished the day at home reading my new book I got for Christmas, Wild by Cheryl Strayed. I am very intrigued by the story and it keeps getting better and better. I will let you know how I end up liking it once I finish! Hopefully I will finish by the end of break.
Later Rose, one of my best friends, came over for dinner, cake and a movie! On the docket for dinner...potato soup with sandwiches. I had a seafood salad sandwich. It was delish! Then the cake was awesome! I got a Pennsylvania Bakery chocolate peanut butter cake. Yummmmmy! I have to admit this is the first year in probably close to ten years that I haven't had a cookie cake, but it was worth it!

Also this is the only time I get mint chocolate chip ice cream. No one else in my family really likes it. Then we watched Rock of Ages! It was a pretty great movie and the music was great!
Did I mention my awesome new kicks I got for my birthday?! I wanted to go and properly get fitted for shoes because I have been having trouble finding the ones that really fit me and I think I found them. Fingers crossed!

And I got Pitch Perfect from Rose and Nicole! We have literally watched this movie seven times in two weeks time. We love it! Does anyone else share the love?
Keep a look out for the workouts and let me know what you think and if you try them out! I'd really love to get feedback!
