Thanks for visiting my blog Faith, Fitness, Food!
My name is Rebecca. I am 20 years old and currently a junior at West Chester University studying Athletic Training with a minor in Nutrition. You can only imagine how important health and fitness is to me jsut knowing my choice of study. When I am not in class or studying I love to workout, cook, read, hangout with family and friends, shop and try new things!
My Journey:
I am not a writer by any sense of the name, but I have a passion for my faith, for fitness and for food! So you may ask me "why then did you decided to write a blog?" Well, through my first year of college I experienced many awesome experiences and many obstacles that came along with the ride. One of the biggest struggles I found was keeping a balance between my new friends, my school work and while still keeping my faith and health an important part of my life.
The first semester was a huge struggle for me. I suffered from severe acid reflux(which I had never had before) , I ended up cutting out exercising by the end of the semester and I was making some poor choices that I never thought I would succumb to. After a long winter break with lots of thinking and praying I decided I needed to take charge of my physical, mental and social health. The last couple of weeks at home I started Jillian Michael's Ripped In 30 DVD and I haven't looked back since. A lot of things did go right for me that semester including finding some of my best friends and working on developing a better relationship with God. One of the best choices I made that semester, and have ever made in my life, was going down to my school's Newman Center the first weekend at school. There I am now apart of the most amazing women's group and lead a weekly Bible Study. Now my life has focus, which I was so blessed to gain over the past couple of years.
My Purpose:
Through this blog I would like to share with you how I have managed to maintain a faith and health filled life, in the best, most fun way possible! College is one of the most exciting and scary times of our lives. It's always nice to turn to people who share the same struggles and successes as yourself. Here is a place to share what I know and have experienced in Faith, Fitness and Food. This is not a place just for me to share, I would love to learn from you all as well!
I hope you all enjoy my blog and please comment with suggestions, questions or any type of feedback!
